What is your style of photography?

My style focuses on capturing natural moments in an immersive experience while being able to effectively use natural or controlled lighting in changing environments. I love taking pictures of just about anything interesting! From indoor studio images to outdoor hikes at 3am to see the stars and sunrise over a mountaintop, I have tried to do it all it almost feels like. I still have so much to learn, and I am excited for every new perspective that expands my mind's horizon to new sights and thoughts, near or far. While I have a passion for taking sports photos as I grew up an athlete playing many seasonal sports too, I appreciate any great challenge and the competitive side in me is striving to get the best shot possible in any situation. I have been called a "photographer acrobatic" more than once in my life lets just say, and I hope my pictures speak for themselves as well!

What web design work do you do?

I went to college for web development and graphic design, as well as built this entire site myself. There is no web design project or creative task too great for our team to take on. We have helped small to big business owners with e-commerce setups, advanced SEO, link forward, as well as so much more. Our coders are ready to bring your ideas to life!

Are deposits refundable?

Yes, all deposits are refundable within 48 hours of the original booking time. After the first 48 time-period the deposit becomes the holding amount to secure the contractor's schedule, cover marketing and advertising costs, as well as travel or taxes expenses. I invest a lot of money into my online marketing and digital programs, so the initial deposits go towards covering those expensive business costs.

Do you backup or secure the files in a safe location?

Of course!! ALL of my files are stored in 3 different locations! There is the main 30TB computer system which stores all the immediate projects. Then once a month I back everything from that drive system to my backup 20TB external drive which is stored in my fireproof safe. I also have each individual image uploaded to a Dropbox cloud online account with unlimited space. When it comes to digital files I always take extra precautions before deleting any memory cards. Have no worries, I know how to navigate through the technologies well!

Does your work come with watermarks?

Yes, but only on viewing collection online. Downloads have all watermarks removed once final payment on project has been completed. Any orders from Zenfolio will have no watermarks either once purchased.

What is Zenfolio?

Zenfolio is my platform for:

Deliverable proofing galleries (with optional password protection).
Online print shopping with thousands of various gift ordering options.
Unlimited cloud storage (with their $400/yr plan).

What is HoneyBook?

HoneyBook is my CRM ("Customer Relations Management") tool for an all-in-one project, invoicing and payments management. HoneyBook's robust features help small businesses:

Build beautiful custom-branded proposals and invoices.
Track project tasks and expenses.
Schedule and automate client payment reminders.
Manage everything in one place.

Do you have a Studio location?

Yes! The studio is used for major editing computer work, small or large product photo and video recordings, as well as various administration projects. It is not the type of studio for client's to visit unfortunately. I hope to own a house someday with enough space for an at home shop to be home for all my creative ideas.

What is your videography experience?

I love cinematic story telling and have always had a passion for the art of filmmaking. In school I took classes for photo, video, and web skills to grow my abilities to more than a just a hobby. I was a manager of a camera shop for almost two years where I also worked for a production company in Portland expanding my experience and professional portfolio at the same time. I then started accepting freelance video projects to better understand the editing processes, and along the way I have connected with a team of creatives that can aid with any assignments I could think to take on today!

Why should I hire a creative professional?

For so many great reasons! We do much more than is seen, behind the scenes. Creatives can help take care of countless tasks that can make a life changing impact in amazing ways. Freezing the once in a lifetime moments to be viewed forever when looking back down memory lane. Having someone to call a friend in this journey to help share your visions to others is a game changer as well. Hiring a creative thinker can improve innovation in your company. Though innovation is impalpable, it has a massive impact on business outcomes. From personal to professional having a creative artist part of one's life really brings everything into perspectives at times when we would least think about it.

How long until I receive my final media product?

Standard turnaround time for delivery of your photos is 15 business days after the start date — however, depending on the time of year it may be sooner. Most of my wedding packages include “sneak peeks” so you at least get a few to share with family and friends within a week!

How will the media be delivered?

The photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the personal link, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints.

Will you work within our budget?

I will always do my best to work within any budget! Sometimes that just isn't possible though, which is totally okay too. I understand that your time is valuable and I hope the same respects can be shown in return. I have invested a tremendous amount of my time and money to master my craft as well. This is my full time profession and I do rely on the connections from my community, clients, and site to afford surviving in this world, and one day I hope to be thriving, but hard work will be the only way to get there. And I want to help make your dreams come to life too, so I will put my everything into each opportunity because we all deserve an equal chance to be seen. Its not about the money necessarily and more about creating a vision together I firmly believe!

What type of equipment do you use?

As I've recently realized a lot of my clients are not aware of the expenses and costs of the equipment that is used in the field as well as behind the scenes. All of my camera gear is Sony and Adobe products for creative production. I have invested countless hours and over $20,000+ in professional equipment over the last 10 years. Always working on expanding my inventory to increase recording capibilities even further. From every project a portion of the funding goes to upgrading materials for a better work flow.
